Fish we love part 2

One of our fishes died earlier this week. So we decided to get some more. Evan helped us pick some out and we had fun trying to name them.

This is Fred. He is a ghost cat fish. He is VERY see through

This is picasso. He is paintbrush guppy

That yellow blob is banana our new snail. You can see the ghost cat fish and our fish kool-aid who is one of our older fish

Some random happenings....

I have been really bad at blogging lately. We have had A LOT of company but of course I have not taken a picture... These are some shots with some random stories... 

The macaroni salad we mad for a party.. It was pretty mach amazing.. But we will never make it taste that good even again because we threw so many random spices in there its ridiculous!

Stefen took this photo and if you look very closely you can see a z on my foot. Stefen was pretty thrilled by this discovery.

This is a party we went to on labor day and these are a few of our friends. We had a blast hanging out and swimming and eating amazing food!

So this is terriaki chicken which was incredible. But we had pulled 2 out initially knowing they were big. Well then our company was going to come for dinner but we took them to a friends house for dinner. So we had 4 chicken breasts that needed to be cooked and eaten....

Last night we came out to the living room where our fishies are and discovered one had died. So the other fish needed to be comforted. I know I am a freak Ill admit it. So we had a campout in the living room and watch a movie. It was really fun since we couldnt go to our ward campout this weekend.

We have been doing really good and have had lots of fun. Its finally starting to cool off this week. It was only 99 today and currently its 89. Its pretty thrilling when it cools off.

The Fish we Love

We have pet fish! They are pretty cool fish and they like to do tricks. Today I tried to have a fishy photo shoot but some of them just wouldnt hold still. Heres what you get.

This is kool-aid and she really is that big. She is a powder blue dwarf gourami. She is a delight to have she is slightly blind and has tentacle like things that she likes to poke the other fish with. 

This is Jerald. He was a pain to get a picture of. He is a Green Cory Catfish and is a bottom feeder. Although he generally stays on the bottom he has hes crazy moods and swims up to attack the other fish or the plants. Its hysterical

That little orange thing is lemon. She is a wild one and was a nightmare to get a good picture of.

Lem has been with us the longest. She is a mickey mouse platy because she has a mickey head on her tail. But she just wanted food and not a pictue

These are our children for the time being. They are fun to tease and watch because they are always nipping at one another.
